Father's Day

Well, you can certainly see where the children get their good looks! :) We spent the afternoon in the back yard (where else would we be??) playing beanbags. Both kids are improving their games and will hopefully be pitching the bags from THREE feet away soon. ;)

Playdate with The Girls

This is Monika's new little sister Alyssa. Well, she's like 4 months new, but I have not had my camera handy when her momma Eva and I are hanging out. She just woke up here and is enjoying some yummy lunch.

Meanwhile, the bigger kids are playing outside in our new back yard! Soccer, water squirters, house, you name it. It's wonderful having a place for them to be kids and a place where Mom(s) don't have to worry about them getting completely filthy in the dirt and rocks we used to have in our yard.

I think Tevin was attempting to put his arm AROUND Monika. Not sure what happened there... ;)

Our Little Helpers

During our two-weekend project, we had some extra help on our hands!

The kids couldn't resist playing King/Queen of the Mountain! Tevin and Brynlee both crawled up and down the giant pile of dirt until they were covered in it. They slept very well on Saturday night!

The first weekend, Tevin wanted to help Daddy shovel rocks into the wheelbarrow. :)

He looked so cute in his hat! He wouldn't slow down long enough for me to get a face shot.

And on the Seventh Day....

..... we did not rest! But we got it done! Check back soon for a day-to-day comparison. Right now Darren and I are going to fall down face first onto the floor. :)
