Friday morning started with a "Birthday Donut". Tevin loves donuts and when he saw a big kid eating a whole donut by himself once, he said, "When I'm big I'm gonna eat a whole donut!!!" He decided that being three means he is indeed "big", so he got to enjoy his big boy donut all by himself. He showed off the cards he got from Gammy K and from G. Grandmother Helen and G. Granddad Mike (this is his "photo face"... nice, eh?) Grandma Sandy and Granddad Randy came on Friday afternoon to help celebrate Tevin, Darren, and Michelle's birthdays (more on that in a later post). On Saturday afternoon, we had Tevin's big party. Lots of family and friends joined us for the fun. Tevin got a few shiny new cars and trucks, some great gift cards, some stuff for his room, a golf set, and a new bike! He tried everything out right away. Thanks to everyone for helping us make Tevin's third birthday really special.

Late Spring Fun
After having many days of below-average temps and even a bit of snow, we have been treated with sunny skies and above-average temps. The kids have been looking forward to getting out the kiddie pool since we put it away last summer, and yesterday was the day! Brynlee showed off her new suit before testing the water. Then she was splashing and playing like a fish! When Tevin woke up from his nap, he joined his sissy, who was so excited to see him that she gave him a hug. We're looking forward to more fun in our yard this summer!

My Brother the Graduate!
On Saturday the 10th, My brother Trent graduated Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in Boston. We are so proud of him! His major is Contemporary Writing and Production - he's very talented in his field. I know because we were able to hear samples of some of his class projects and compositions. He is also an accomplished electric bass player for his band Honest Thomas. We posed outside Agganis Arena for pics with the proud grad.
Our Trip to Bean Town
Darren and I took a Kid Free trip to Boston over Mother's Day weekend. We saw some amazing historical sites including Beacon Hill, the Massachusettes State House, and the Boston Public Library. The Prudential tower is known as "The North Star" in Boston. On Mother's Day, all of my sibs were together for a picture at the Boston Commons. It was a wonderful trip!
