Howdy Pardners!

The Stock Show is in Denver and the kids are in their cowboy best! Tevin's preschool has featured the western theme for the past week and it continues this week. Yesterday Tevin went to school in his cute overalls. He made a stick horse (with an empty wrapping paper roll) and has been bringing home western artwork. He's very proud of his "beautiful drawings". Tonight we have Spaghetti Wester Dinner at school; we'll be served by his teachers and other staff at the school!

The Many Faces of Brynlee

Ok, I had to cut her hair... But only a little bit! I just needed to get the hair out of her eyes. She's got natural bangs due to her multiple cowlics and they were causing constant tickling. Problem solved!!

Here is "Gangsta Brynlee" (dubbed by her Daddy). Doesn't she look tough, Princess blankey and all?

Water Blogged

These three pictures are what happens when you combine the following ingredients: 1. Water, 2. Air temps ABOVE 60 degrees, and 3. Kids who like to take their clothing off. Nowhere else but Arizona can the kids enjoy a dip in the chilly pool in January. Oh, and the last two pics are the two of them "showing their muscles". They've been hittin' the gym with me, can't you tell?

Zoie

Zoie: Brynlee's FAVORITE cousin. :) And who wouldn't call Zoie a favorite, especially when she gets you ANYTHING you want, and picks you up whenever you are tired of using your legs? Zoie, can you lift 110 lbs? ;)

Christmas Kids

These three pics are from Christmas at my mom's (a.k.a Gammy K) on December 20th. Brynlee loves her Doctor Kit! Tevin got a Grocery Store Checkout that helps him learn about the food groups and giving change. We had a lot of fun at Gammy's!

LOVE in the New Year

Darren's sister and her family have been taking pictures at "Love" for years now. The sculpture is in the middle of Scottsdale Civic Park, and this year was the first year that ALL of us got to pose on these somewhat-famous letters.

Catching up on Christmas

I know it's already 2009, but so much happened between our last post and now that I'd really like to get you all up to date! This first picture is Tevin and Brynlee just before Tevin's Preschool Christmas Program. May I say that I have the most amazing 3-year-old ever? He was such a little man up there on the stage, and he did all of the signs to "Silent Night" - probably better than most of the other 3s! He brought tears to my eyes with his composure and cuteness.

Here are our two goobers on Christmas Morning (actually, it was the 24th... we had to leave so early on Christmas Day that Santa came early just for us). Tevin got a cool race track and Brynlee got a new kitchen. Both of them love their gifts from Santa!

Here is the Stauth Family Christmas Picture, taken annually since, well.... as long as I've been a member of the family (and before). The rest of the family (Grandmother, Granddad, Brent, Jennifer, and Andrew) usually poses but this is all we could fit in that part of the entry. We had a wonderful time in Phoenix!
