A week ago, we decided it was high time to move Tevin into a real bed. Tevin isn't a climber, so I never worried about him trying to get out of the crib, and everything I'd read told us to wait until as close to his third birthday as possible. Well, he's just 2 1/2 months shy of that milestone, but what really sparked my desire to let go of yet another baby stage was that I took a real good look at my "baby" in his crib only to realize that his body nearly stretched from the headboard to the footboard. How did that happen!?!?
This past week, we had a full-size mattress on the floor and kept the crib in the room just in case he decided he wasn't ready for the transition. After a solid week of big boy style sleeping, we determined he was indeed ready, so we gave Tevin's crib to Brynlee.
